Introduction
Welcome to the Kids’ Peace Initiative (KPI). These Terms and Conditions govern the use of our website, programs, services, donations, sponsorships, volunteer activities, and any other engagement with our organization.
About Kids’ Peace Initiative
Kids’ Peace Initiative (KPI) is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of children through quality education, peacebuilding, healthcare support, child protection, and sustainable community development. Our mission is to empower children, strengthen families, and build peaceful communities by providing opportunities that promote learning, dignity, and hope for a brighter future.
Eligibility
To ensure responsible participation, users must be at least eighteen (18) years of age to make donations or enter into legally binding agreements with KPI. All users are expected to provide accurate and truthful information and to use the website lawfully. Parents or legal guardians may register children for approved programs.
Donations
All donations are voluntary. Donations support KPI’s mission and are generally non-refundable except where required by law. KPI reserves the right to allocate donations where they are most needed.
Sponsorship Programs
Sponsors support children’s education and welfare. Sponsorship does not create parental or legal rights over sponsored children, and all communication must follow KPI’s Child Safeguarding Policy.
Volunteer Services
Volunteers must respect children and staff, maintain confidentiality, follow safeguarding policies, avoid discrimination and harassment, and complete background checks where required.
Child Protection Policy
KPI has a zero-tolerance policy against child abuse, exploitation, neglect, bullying, harassment, and human trafficking. Violators may be reported to the appropriate authorities.
User Conduct
Users must not upload harmful content, use offensive language, impersonate others, spread malware, attempt unauthorized access, or use the website for unlawful purposes.
Intellectual Property
All logos, photographs, videos, graphics, publications, educational materials, articles, and website content remain the property of Kids’ Peace Initiative unless otherwise stated.
Privacy
Personal information including names, email addresses, telephone numbers, donation records, and volunteer applications is handled according to our Privacy Policy and is never sold to third parties.
Online Purchases
Where applicable, products such as books, eggs, crafts, or educational materials are sold subject to availability. Returns are accepted only for damaged or incorrect items.
Event Registration
Participants agree to follow event rules, respect staff and participants, and accept reasonable schedule changes when necessary.
Educational Resources
Educational materials are intended for educational purposes only and may not be redistributed without written permission.
Website Availability
KPI strives for uninterrupted website access but cannot guarantee continuous availability due to maintenance or technical issues.
